Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Driving Learner License

Steps to Apply for Learner License through DLIMS Punjab Portal
In this guide I will explain practically every step of applying for a learner’s license. Before writing these steps I have personally applied for a learner license online and completed virtually every single step involved in a learner license. Now I will explain all these steps. I hope this personal experience of mine will help you to get Punjab Learner License without any confusion.
Step 1: Create an account on the DLIMS website:
The first step to apply for learner license in Punjab is to create your account at www.dlims.punjab.gov.pk. You can apply and create account directly from our website www.dlims.net.pk as we have integrated dlims api in our website.
To create account only yellow button “Apply for Learner License” is available on home page of Dlims website as given in below snapshot.
- After clicking this button you will be redirected to the login page where you have to click on the register button to create your account on the DLIMS website as shown in the image below.
- Now create an account by clicking on the option “Create Account”.
- After clicking on create account you will be redirected to the signup page “https://dlims.punjab.gov.pk/register”. Fill the registration form by providing the following details correctly.
- CNIC
Spell your full name as per your matric certificate. - Password
- Captcha code
Step 2: Login to your DLIMS Punjab account.
After successfully creating an account on DLIMS the next step is to login your account by entering the following details in the login box.
- The email used for the DLIMS account
- Password
- Captcha code
Step 3: Select the Learner License option.
- Once logged in you will see “License” option at the top as shown in the image provided. If you want to get permanent driving license then you can choose regular license option.
- Click on License Option and then select “Learner License Option”.
- You will then select either the “Apply” or “Renew” option.
- Click on Apply Now and your Learner Online Application Form will open in front of you.
Step 4: Fill the Punjab Learner License Online Application Form.
Now to successfully apply for Punjab learner license you have to fill learner license application form as mentioned below and also show through provided screenshots.
In the first step you have to fill the “Citizen profile” option application form by providing all your personal details.
- CNIC
- Name
- Father’s Name
- Height
- Blood group
- Vehicle Type
- Permanent and current
- address
- Upload a passport size
- photograph.
- Upload CNIC front and back image.
Once you provide all the above information and upload your CNIC and passport size photograph, click on the “Submit” button.
Once you click the submit button, your application will be submitted.
Note: Select your vehicle type carefully as shown in the screenshot below.
Step 5: Submit your learner license application fee.
- Once you click on submit application, your application will be submitted and you will be directed to the license application list as shown in the screenshot provided.
- Verify all your information before submitting the fee.
- Copy the PSID number from your license application list to submit your Punjab learner license fee.
- You can pay for Learner License through Easy Paisa JazCash, 1 Link ATM, Bank IBFT.
- Just enter the PSID number in the payment option and your Dilmes Learner license fee will be submitted.
Step 6: Print your learner driving license.
- Once you have paid your license fee, simply refresh the Dullums website login to your account and go to “Request List”.
- Simply click on the “Print” option and your Digital Learner License will be downloaded.
- Print this learner license and you can use it anywhere in Pakistan during your travels.
